Q&A: so after my macbook broke i decided to get a new imac, but i still really miss having something portable. how much do think i could get for a macbook with a busted logic board? i’d like to try to get rid of it or trade it for a new ipad. you think this seems plausible?

Hmm, a macbook with a busted logic board isn’t going to get you much more than $2-300. I’d be impressed with more at least…check the “completed listings” section of ebay for real price ranges. Plausible though, ebay sometimes surprises. I have an iPad, they are bangin. Doesn’t replace my macbook, but if you really wanted it to…it could. I wouldn’t do any real typing on it without a bluetooth keyboard though.

I use my iPhone as a hotspot so I don’t have to pay the iPad dataplan…works like a charm.

I just saw some awesome implementations of a jailbroken AppleTV too…can actually play hulu, and a few other tricks…you need to troll youtube and do some reading to figure out how to do that though. I need to start publishing these questions…people would probably like to know about this.
